Gentzo Privacy Policy

Effective October 4, 2026. What Gentzo keeps on our servers, what stays on your Mac, and your choices.

This policy explains how Orion Technology Enterprises, Inc. ("Orion", "we") handles personal information for Gentzo. The short version: your business data and your agents' work stay on your Mac. Our servers keep only what's needed to run your account, your team and your subscription. We don't sell personal information, show ads, or use your data to train AI models.

1. What we keep on our servers

  • Account: your name, email address, a one-way hash of your password (never the password itself), when you accepted the Terms, and when you last logged in.
  • Your business in Gentzo: its name, who's in it, each person's role (owner, admin, member), the agents and teams each member may access, and pending invitations (including the invitee's email and who invited them).
  • Subscription and purchases: your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan status, trial and billing dates, and one-time add-ons you buy (such as Biz Builder: the amount, date and payment reference). Card details are handled by Stripe; we never receive your full card number.
  • One-time codes: password-reset and invitation codes, stored only as hashes and expiring within 15 minutes (resets) or 7 days (invites).
  • Security data: your IP address, used briefly to limit repeated sign-in attempts, and standard server logs kept for security and troubleshooting.

2. What stays on your Mac

These never reach our servers:

  • Your companies, agents, schedules, instructions and skills.
  • Agents' reports, run history, escalations and chat conversations.
  • Files and folders you link, data files you import, and website or service logins you connect. Logins are kept in the macOS Keychain (or a file only your user account can read).
  • Your AI provider keys and settings.

Deleting the Gentzo app and its ~/.gentzo folder removes this data. Keep your own backups if you need them.

3. AI providers

When an agent works, the Gentzo app on your Mac sends the information it needs (instructions, and data it reads from your connected sources) directly to the AI provider you chose (for example OpenAI, Anthropic or OpenRouter), using your own API key, or to a model server you run. It doesn't pass through our servers. That provider's terms and privacy policy apply to what it receives; check them, and only connect data you're comfortable sending.

4. Websites and services you connect

If you let an agent use a website or business tool (for example your CRM, ads account or accounting software), the app talks to that service from your Mac with the login you provided. Those services' policies apply.

5. Phone companion

If you pair a phone, it connects to Gentzo on your Mac over your local network using an encrypted connection. Messages and alerts travel between your phone and your Mac, not through our servers.

6. How we use information

  • To create and secure your account, let you sign in, and reset your password.
  • To run your business in Gentzo: invitations, roles and member access.
  • To provide the subscription, including the free trial, billing, receipts and cancellations.
  • To send service emails (codes, invitations, billing notices). We don't send marketing email without your consent.
  • To protect Gentzo against abuse and fraud, and to comply with the law.

7. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with providers that help us run Gentzo, under contracts that protect it:

  • Stripe: payments, subscriptions and the billing portal.
  • Amazon Web Services: hosting our servers and sending service email.
  • Vercel: hosting this website.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger or acquisition (in which case this policy continues to apply). We never sell or rent personal information.

8. How long we keep it

  • Account and team information: while your account exists.
  • Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after you close your account.
  • Server and security logs: a limited period, then deleted.

9. Your choices and rights

You can update your name and password in the app (Settings). You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California) you may have additional rights, including to complain to your data protection authority. We don't sell or "share" personal information for advertising.

Deleting your account

Email admin@oriontechenterprises.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my Gentzo account". We'll cancel your subscription and delete your account and business information within 30 days, except records we must keep by law. If you own a business with other people in it, their access ends too.

10. Security

Connections between the app and our servers are encrypted. Passwords and codes are stored only as hashes, sign-in attempts are rate-limited, and changing your password signs out your other devices. No system is perfectly secure; tell us right away if you suspect someone has accessed your account.

11. Children

Gentzo is for people 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

12. International transfers

Our providers may process information in the United States, Australia and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

13. Changes

We'll update this policy as Gentzo changes and post the new effective date here. For material changes we'll tell you in the app or by email.
